Do not buy more gear. Do not get technical. Do not worry about Photoshop. DO WORK ON YOUR PEOPLE SKILLS. If you are disappointed with your photographs, start asking yourself if you could improve upon your people skills. How can you do this? Take an interest in your subjects. Start conversation, create some ice breakers…....

I captured this during my last wedding assignment. Jason (groom) was taking a quick smoke break before heading to the church. Nikon D3, 50 1.4 @ f3.5, 1/500 sec ISO 200. Post converted to grayscale, contrast bump, film grain added, sharpened for web.
